Improving Childcare Access for Lewisville Families
Groundwork Outreach and City of Lewisville Partner to Launch Childcare Needs Assessment in 75057 Neighborhoods
Lewisville, TX, October 2025 — Groundwork Outreach, a Dallas-based nonprofit specializing in data-driven community engagement, has partnered with the City of Lewisville to conduct a childcare needs assessment in the 75057 neighborhoods of southern Lewisville. The effort is designed to elevate resident voices and provide actionable insights that will guide city leaders as they work to improve childcare access for families.
The campaign is funded through a grant that the City was awarded through the International City/County Managers Association (ICMA)’s Economic Mobility and Opportunity Cohort and will rely on door-to-door surveys to gather perspectives from households in the target area. Findings from the 16,800 residents and 6,600 households in the 75057 community will help inform policies, programs, and funding decisions that reflect the needs of parents and caregivers.
