Groundwork Outreach and Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas Launch Campaign to Boost Workforce Program Access Across Dallas County
Dallas, TX — Groundwork Outreach, a Dallas-based nonprofit specializing in data-driven community engagement, and Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas today announced a new canvassing and survey campaign designed to increase awareness and enrollment in Workforce Solutions’ free career, training, and employment services.
The boots-on-the-ground initiative focuses on reaching currently unenrolled residents living near the Workforce Centers who might be unaware of the organization’s resources, ensuring that those closest to each center can more easily access no-cost job training, career counseling, and related supports.
“Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas provides no-cost resources—job preparation, training, job placement, and child care services—that can change lives,” said Demetria Robinson, Executive Vice President of Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas. “Yet far too many families either don’t know these opportunities exist or face barriers to access. This campaign will help close that gap.”
Through neighborhood outreach and on-the-ground surveying, trained canvassers will share information about Workforce Solutions services, listen to residents’ employment needs, and gather insights to guide future solutions. Findings from this effort will help shape actionable strategies to connect more people with job opportunities and career pathways.
