New Name, Same Mission
Groundwork DFW Announces Rebranding as Groundwork Outreach
Dallas, TX – August 5, 2025 – Groundwork DFW, a nonprofit committed to advancing access to opportunity through data-driven community engagement, has officially rebranded as Groundwork Outreach. The updated name, logo, and website URL—now www.GroundworkOutreach.org—align with the organization’s broader reach and vision for continued growth.
Currently operating in Dallas and Houston, Groundwork Outreach enables mission driven organizations to connect data and community engagement to empower and strengthen underserved communities. Recent milestones in Dallas include increasing Pre-K and WIC enrollment, and providing vital eviction support to families in need. Groundwork Outreach’s campaigns also include deep engagement with community members to better understand their barriers to accessing critical resources.
“By meaningfully incorporating community voice in decision making and resource allocation, we can maximize our impact for those neighborhoods most in need,” said Marie Appel, Groundwork Outreach, CEO. “Our approach uncovers community priorities and needs, contextualizes that with data insights, and drives innovation that shapes and benefits us all. This is a scalable model, and we’re excited to have a brand that reflects that.”
Beginning August 5, all visitors to previous Groundwork URLs will be redirected to GroundworkOutreach.org.
Groundwork Outreach remains dedicated to its mission, combining data-driven outreach with local engagement. Notable achievements include a grassroots Pre-K campaign that increased PreK applications by 10 percentage points, and a community effort that drove a 5% increase in WIC enrollment within a single month.
